Financial Times Places Stanford at the Top

The Financial Times’ 2012 ranking of the world’s top MBA programs was published recently and placed Stanford in the top spot. Harvard placed second and Wharton took the third slot. As opposed to other rankings that only rate U.S. schools, FT’s ranking compares business schools all over the world along a number of criteria, such as salary increase post-MBA, articles published by faculty, diversity of teaching staff, etc. The top 10 includes only 5 American schools, with 4 European programs and one Asian. FT’s unique methodology amounts to a number of surprises. For example, Chicago is only twelfth, Kellogg is 16, and Tuck is at 19!

Rounding out the top 10 are:

4. LBS
5. Columbia
6. INSEAD
7. MIT
8. IE
9. IESE
10. HKUST

Possible Tip: Costs Until End of April

Dear all,

Just a quick reminder: until the end of April the cost of Vocaz work is a bit lower (by $30 per hour) due to the low-season.

If you know that you're going to do certain Vocaz work later, and you can do it now, consider doing it until the end of April, it may reduce costs a little.

In addition, there are top-20 programs (including Columbia and INSEAD) that have submission deadlines in February-May (regular deadlines, not last round). You may review and consider them here:
